We are proud of our rooms, which have a pleasant size. Each room is equipped with a bathroom, as well as a new TV and free internet connection. We are family and pet friendly. We offer 2 single rooms, 7 double rooms, 1 triple room, and 3 family rooms with 4-5 beds. On the 1st floor some of the rooms offer a terrace with mountain view.

The Hotel Alpenrose bei Ballenberg is an ideal place for travelers who appreciate a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the breathtaking natural scenery of the Bernese Oberland. Surrounded by meadows, forests and mountains, the Alpenrose is right next to the Ballenberg Landscape Museum. In every season there are many possibilities for an active holiday with us.

{Sehr freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges und vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet. Ruhige Lage mit schöner Aussicht. Nur ca. 15 Minuten Fussweg zum Ballenberg. Einfaches, kleines aber sauber und gut geführtes Hotel.

{Die Lage ,eine himmlische Ruhe Nachts,das Zimmer u.Bett tip top.das Frühstück,der Kaffee ist super, und die supernette Gastgeberin Franziska .ich werde wieder kommen,ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

{Das beste B&B was wir je erlebt haben und wir waren schon in vielen. Sehr familier, alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

{The breakfast was a traditional Swiss breakfast. Everything was perfect. The staff was particularly welcoming and warm. We arrived very late and missed dinner. It doesn't sound like much but there were packets of soup mix and tea that held us over until breakfast.

{Super Unterkunft für Tagesausflüge ins Berner Oberland. Sehr schöne Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Ballenberg Museum. Wunderbare Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für CH.

{The guesthouse owners were really hospitable and cares for every part of our stay. The breakfast was GREAT (local cheese from a nearby mountain) and the morning chats with the owner gave a new insight to Switzerland 🙂

{Hotel tra il verde, molto tranquillo, vicino al museo del Ballenberg. Si possono visitare altri luoghi, fare piacevoli passeggiate. Ricordarsi L’ equipaggiamento per la pioggia. Noi abbiamo sentito l’esercitazione degli F-18? Ev . Tappi x orecchie!

{Dans un petit village entouré de verdure... hôtel charmant et familial. La salle a mangé est magnifique, avec une vue vue sur la verdure et les chutes d’eau au loin. La région est magnifique! La proximité de l’entrée de Ballenberg à pied est bien agréable. Petit déjeuner délicieux, servi avec soin. Nous avons pris notre repas du soir à la hôtel, nous nous sommes régalés. Nous reviendrons...

The Hotel Alpenrose bei Ballenberg has a beautiful dining room with over 50 seats. The beautiful carvings and ornaments created by local artists give the dining room an incomparable atmosphere. On request, our hotel can be reserved and booked for events of all kinds.
