We are proud of our rooms, which have a pleasant size. Each room is equipped with a bathroom, as well as a new TV and free internet connection. We are family and pet friendly. We offer 2 single rooms, 7 double rooms, 1 triple room, and 3 family rooms with 4-5 beds. On the 1st floor some of the rooms offer a terrace with mountain view.

The Hotel Alpenrose bei Ballenberg is an ideal place for travelers who appreciate a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the breathtaking natural scenery of the Bernese Oberland. Surrounded by meadows, forests and mountains, the Alpenrose is right next to the Ballenberg Landscape Museum. In every season there are many possibilities for an active holiday with us.

Ideale Unterkunft für den Ballenberg

Absolut ruhige Lage in der Nähe des Ballenberg Museums. Am Morgen war es sehr ruhig und man konnte im nahen Brienzersee schwimmen, sehr freundliches Personal.

{Die Kinder haben das höher gelegene Bett geliebt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das essen und trinken war auch ausserst schmackhaft.

{Le personnel très sympa. Nous avions une chambre double avec une jolie terrasse. Le petit déjeuner parfaitement fourni et la possibilité de prendre des fruits à notre guise durant la journée. Hôtel très bien situé, non loin de Brienz et son lac et à deux pas du musée de Ballenbergue. Hôtel calme et reposant.

The Hotel Alpenrose bei Ballenberg has a beautiful dining room with over 50 seats. The beautiful carvings and ornaments created by local artists give the dining room an incomparable atmosphere. On request, our hotel can be reserved and booked for events of all kinds.
